Construction:
My hand-dyed fabrics, commercial fabrics, variegated rayon thread, iridescent thread, raw edge binding.
A technique known as surface stitching unifies and blends all the colors while providing more visual texture.

Inspiration:
When I look at my garden (especially without my glasses on!)  I always sense this blending of colors.  A leaking away, dripping color from flower, to grass, to water, to sky, to ground.
Exhibited at the Galeria Tonantzin in San Juan Bautista, California from March 4 - April 1, 2000. And also at the Marin Needle Arts & Quilt Guild Show, September 2000.
