Together Warrior Vest September 1999 Exhibited at the Pacific International Quilt Festival October 1999 and at Marin Needle Arts & Quilt Guild Show in September 2000. Construction: Commercial batik squares and strips, lining is my handyed and painted fabric. Beading on back with several colors of glass seed beads. Heavily quilted 1/4" apart echo quilting. Inspiration: Many elements come together to provide the space for a warrior to be protected and grounded. She is now ready to surmount all obstacles in her path. |
